The Refinery, Newstead

Benny and his team got ready in a city apartment, while Ben, his crew and Dimtri the dog got ready at the venue. Rain was in the forecast but The Refinery is one of those great venues that caters for all weather situations.

After a very emotional ceremony where they became the #husBens, we headed off with the wedding party over to Brisbane Powerhouse for photos (even with road closures and a comedy festival, we made it happen).

The weather cleared just long enough for us, and we got the photos done.  Then headed back to the venue for an amazing reception with cake cutting, dancing, speeches and a delicious meal.

We could not fault the team at The Refinery, they were an amazing group of people, everything ran so smoothly and I heard so many people comment about the amazing food.

They opted for an indoor sparkler circle due to the rain which the guests loved.  We left as everyone was having a great time dancing the night away.
