Abby + James at The Little Laneway

Abby + James’ wedding at The Little Laneway was the perfect mix of heartfelt, joyful, and wildly fun.

With Seuss the ring bearer stealing hearts early, emotional vows, happy tears all day long, and Abby surprising her husband with a beautiful belly dance performance later in the night, this celebration felt completely true to them from beginning to end.

And while this was their Australian wedding celebration, the festivities aren’t over yet… with an even bigger celebration planned in overseas in the coming months. 

Honestly, we need a moment specifically for Seuss.

Dressed for the occasion and fully embracing the role of ring bearer, Seuss absolutely won over every single guest at The Little Laneway.

Dogs at weddings always bring something extra special, and this little legend was no exception.

The ceremony was one of those beautiful combinations of emotional and joyful, the kind where tears and laughter happen within seconds of each other.

Abby + James made the entire day feel effortless. Nothing felt forced or overly formal. Just genuine moments, surrounded by the people they love most.

One of the things we love most about The Little Laneway is how versatile it is photographically. Every corner feels warm, modern, and full of personality, which suited Abby + James perfectly.  Plus it's location in the city means you are close to epic photo spots as well.

We snuck away briefly for portraits while guests settled into cocktail hour, and somehow managed to create photos that felt elegant, relaxed, and completely them.

As soon as the reception started, the energy lifted from emotional to full celebration mode.

The speeches brought more laughs and tears, the dance floor stayed packed, and one of the biggest highlights of the night was Abby surprising James with a belly dance performance that had the entire room cheering.

It was such a personal, joyful moment and the perfect reflection of the kind of day they created, meaningful, fun, and completely unforgettable.

Abby + James created a wedding day that felt deeply personal from start to finish.  Elegant without being too serious, emotional without losing the fun, and completely centred around celebrating with the people they love most.

The Little Laneway was the perfect backdrop for it all, and we already know their  next celebration is going to be something incredibly special too.
